Last Friday, we gathered with our community to celebrate a meaningful milestone Mahad Yoga’s official ribbon cutting ceremony. While the studio has been open for two years, this moment felt like a pause to acknowledge the journey so far. Building a studio isn’t just about opening doors; it’s about showing up day after day, forming relationships, and building a community with shared values. The ribbon cutting marked that shared effort.
A Night of Community & Connection
Throughout the evening, friends, family, neighbors, locals, and first-time visitors stopped by to connect, explore the studio, and celebrate together. There were refreshments, product testers from our boutique, and plenty of moments to slow down and enjoy being in community. It was especially meaningful to welcome both longtime members and new faces, a reminder of how the studio continues to grow through relationships.
Welcoming New Students
As part of the celebration, we offered special ribbon cutting-only pricing for new students, along with some giveaways as a small thank-you for joining us. It was a joy to see people curious about the practice, asking questions, and taking their first steps into the space — including neighbors who said they had driven past without realizing what was tucked away upstairs in the same plaza as StorQuest Self Storage. Once inside, many were surprised to find an updated, cozy, and remodeled space.

The evening was made even more special by celebrating alongside Afterglow Atelier, our neighbor and partner. Michelle and her team welcomed guests with generosity and beautiful giveaway bags, reinforcing what makes small-business communities so powerful: collaboration and mutual support. We were also thankful for Chained & Charmed partnering with Afterglow Atelier and adding a thoughtful touch to the evening. It was a joy to see guests moving between our spaces, enjoying goodies on both sides, mingling, and celebrating together.
